Sharpening Services

I am a trained sharpener with over 12 years of experience sharpening. I use a whetstone bench wheel, Japanese stones, professional scissor sharpening machines, and high-end shaping grinders. I can repair broken tips, remove rust, and adjust/maintain tools.

Located at 89 Barre St in Montpelier, VT - (Sign says Rocket Leathercraft and Sharpening). I can work with your schedule! My hours are typically Mon, Wed, Fri 10-5pm, (Often Sat 10-2pm) but I can negotiate based on your availability. For businesses/restaurants: I can come to you! Most jobs are done same day based on drop-off time.

Pricing

Kitchen knives ~$1.50 per inch ( I round down for full sets of 6 or more).

Serrated knives ~$2 per inch

Japanese knives or hand sharpening ~$2 per inch

Pocket knives ~$2 per inch

Hunting knives ~$2 per inch
